By now I have made quite a large number of fractals which are coloured by tessellating images inside them.

Mandelbrot Sets

Here is a collection of Mandelbrot Sets coloured with different source photographs. Although it is the same mathematically defined structure in each image notice how the different photographs seem to create a different coloured “texture” in each one. Click the images to enlarge.
